For you Florida folks do you have a dehumidifier in the garage? What about AC garage?

My garage has neither, but the problem I have with these rubber parts is not humidity, it's sun/UV.

Before I try some cleaner that makes it worse what is the best solution/method at removing this without damaging the rubber. Thanks
Reviving this thread. I can confirm these are chemical stains from the car wash.

As mentioned in my earlier post, I had these stains when I first bought the car and removed them with a bit of elbow grease. I broke down last week and used the car wash only to notice the stains on the trim a few days later. I had them hand wash it outside so it must be overspray from the **** they put on the wheels.

And thats why you dont use the car wash folks :-)

Firstly you use a dry microfiber towel to remove the visible dirt on the windows. Then using wet wipes or a damp microfiber towel to clean the rubber trims. Is it worth with your cleaning? Tell me.

You need to be carefully. Without proper care, these rubber strims can become brittle, cracked, and discolored after a year or so.

Second this solution. It was the only product that I used that ended up fixing it.

Agree with the last 2 posts, Nextzett is the precise tool for the job. Repeated applications and elbow grease is necessary, the first time I used it, I thought it was not working. Second application and some muscle yielded excellent results.

Before Nextzett and Gummi pflege

After, looks as new.
