Are there any other benefits to the ceramic coating? Heat retention doesn't seem to be a problem with the stock mufflers. Sound is the same, mufflers aren't visible, don't know about corrosion resistance?

Ceramic coating the mufflers reduces heat from the exhaust hence less heat in the engine compartment.

Anything substantial? Heat retention because of muffler temp I can't see as a huge issue. There are heat shields around the mufflers already anyways. Trying to see if the added cost is worth it...

I can only answer subjectively that I noticed a large decrease in heat coming out the rear wheels after installing ceramic Fisters. And would order them again that way because of it.
