997.2 base brake pad change - parts verification
Ordering some Pads.. just want to confirm parts. If there is better stuff to recommend, let me know.
I don't need rotors, those are in good shape. Its a street car that sees 2 track events a year and maybe a couple of AutoX.

The base brake calipers are not an open back design. He will have to remove the caliper. With that said, if you aren't tracking the car, the bolt replacement is optional. On the flip side, it's recommended and if you don't change brake pads often, why not do it.
I know many folks that only replace the bolts every other caliper removal.
Gooad advice about he dampeners. But again, plenty of folks remove them or reuse them.

Thanks...
So I took the calipers off once before to paint them. I didn't replace the bolts or the dampeners then.
I will add the dampeners to my list... Good suggestion. Do you happen to have the part number for those?
Also any experience with the redstuff pads?

Dampers and sensors
I don't see dampers in your list of parts which is just as well as, in my opinion, they're not needed. Same goes for the sensors. You don't need'em. If you opt out regarding sensors, be sure to leave the old sensor connected and if the sensor is broken, you can solder it, cover in electrical tape, and tie back out of way.

No experience with Redstuff pads. I just have experience with real race pads, PFC, Pagid. For street driving I'd stick with OEM or something equivalent that is cheaper. The OEM pads are very good.
