Spacers
Any recommendations on spacer size and manufacturer/source for a .2 C4S? The car has factory 5mm spacers but they still appear tucked in. I believe I recall 15mm but do not know if that’s rear or all around.
Any adverse affects with larger spacers? Should I leave it alone?

7mm up front, and 15mm in the rear is a common setup with the rims that came from Porsche for that car.
I’ll assume you know about hub-centric fitting, proper bolt length, etc.
I like to always have a seat on the spacer for the rim, but that’s tough on spacers less than 10mm as there’s not a lot of space.
The only vendor I know that sells a 7mm spacer with a seat is Elephant Racing - https://www.elephantracing.com/porsc...ers-lug-bolts/
They mill out slots in that spacer for the 3 fingers coming out of the hub, yet retain the ring to seat the wheel.
Karl.
PS: Though a BMW specific vendor, this article by Turner Motorsport gives a good overview - https://www.turnermotorsport.com/t-w...s-encyclopedia

What look are you looking for?
Take a flat edge across the wheel opening (fender lip to fender lip) on the car - at a height from the floor that approximates the tire/fender lip relationship that's pleasing to you. Then measure from flat edge to the tire (or wheel rim, whatever you think will result in the look you're looking for) - and that measurement is the amount of wheel spacer you need (in other words, how much to move-out the tire/wheel from its current location).
Be sure to buy appropriate length wheel bolts.
On my stock 997.1, I use 15 mm "all around". I too wish I had gone a bit thicker - maybe 18-20 mm.

do you have a photo of your car so we can see which wheels (sizes/widths) you are running?

I have 7mm front, 15mm rear RSS spacers. Rears are perfect. Fronts are still a little too tucked in for my taste. If I had to do over again I would get 15mm up front too.
My indy told me it was best for the car's geometry to use the same size all around, or make the fronts 1/2 the dimension of the rears. I have no idea if thats true...

doubt it's true. but I'm glad another member who has gone the 7/15 route admits that the fronts via 7mm still has lots of room to push out.
i have 15s front and back , i would say if someone is on the fence or a tad worried that is a little too aggressive, just got 12F/15R (assuming 8inch front 11 inch rear oem wheel)

Thank you for the wealth of information here guys. It will take some time to digest. I like the idea of 7mm front and 15mm back. The car came with factory optioned 5mm at all corners.
I am running 305 rear and 235 front tires. Cannot recall the wheel design.

I did the 15mm rear / 7mm front RS spacers about 3 years ago (30,000+ miles on them since) and I love them. Made the wheels flush with the wide fenders and gave the rear end a slightly wider presence on the road. Go for it you'll be glad you did.
