Default 997 shifter width?

Does anybody know how wide is the flat part of the shifter on the 997?

The pictures below show the measurement I'm looking for. Is it 13.6 or 16.5mm?

TIA

Thanks for your quick reply!

By any chance, do you have the thickness and length of the flat part as well?

That second pic from your first post is mostly correct for the 997 shift lever.

I get 7.2mm thickness and 88.5mm tall (flat part).

We make shift ***** - CLASSIC SHIFT **** - if that's what you're looking for

I am looking at these too. Check out black forest if you haven't seen them already.

I either want to go with function first or them

Thanks for the tip regarding Black Forest. I checked them out today, but not a fan of the logo on top and they all look too stubby for my liking. They look like they are pretty good quality though.

I have the FF shift **** (actually 2 of them). Black with white lettering. One in aluminum, one in Delrin. The aluminum has a nice weight and the throw on my Numeric Shifter makes it perfect for me....but in the summer it's like grabbing on the a stove while on (I.e. HOT). So in comes the Delrin and problem solved for the heat and now I'm used to the lighter weight.

viola!
