Im very familiar with Gallardos actually. I've took apart well over 30 of them by now in a years worth. Get your wife to trade in for an 09 , the egear is ages ahead in speed and reliability.

Porsche PDK is great however this topic is about Porsche tiptronic.

I sold a 2007 C2S with a tiptronic two weeks after listing it and for full asking price, and I sold it for a bit under $40k. Tiptronic is a good reliable transmission and even though most 911 enthusiast wouldn't purchase a tiptronic, they do not even make up 1% of the buying market.

People often mis-understand what it means to assign a value to an object and most people can't really figure out what their vehicle is truly worth. The true value of a vehicle is the amount an individual is willing to pay for it. The majority of the population doesn't know how to drive manual or doesn't like driving manual. this is a fact and you have a greater chance of selling a tiptronic to someone than you do a manual.
