Default 997.2 2012 Pricing

Due to illness, I am considering the sale of my 2012 997.2 S with 47,000 miles. It's a beautiful car! Platinum silver, 6 speed manual. 3,000 mile oil and filter changes. 3rd radiator. New coolant tank, water pump and thermostat. (preventative maintenance). Replaced transmission fluid with PTX. Replaced serpentine belt. Porsche Turbo II wheels and Michelin SS tires, (235/35/19 and 305/30/19).

What is a reasonable price for a private sale? Car in Sacramento, CA.

Clean car fax, no accidents? Any paint work?

I'd say mid-50s, maybe more depending on how it shows.

First of all, sorry that you may have to sell due to an illness. I would also agree with at least mid 50's if there are no stories based on what I was seeing during my search last year. I would assume prices haven't changed that much since last fall.

Lots of variables here, but figure 50% off list puts you in the ballpark.

Good luck with your health issues. Sorry to hear of your problems. GLWS.

Go to edmunds.com and get an appraisal/valuation of your vehicle. So far this is the only website that allows you to input all the options on your car in order to get a more accurate valuation. If you're thinking of trading in the vehicle, go to Autotrader.com and click on "Sell My Car". This will give you an idea of what a dealership is likely to offer you, mostly a low ball offer.
