997 Gen 1, warning Battery/Generator fault
My car is has started with a warning alarm Battery/Generator fault, the car battery is approx 12.8v with the engine off, with the engine on it is charging at 14.4V?? I have been underneath the car to check the joint near the engine and that is also at 14.4V?? anyone got any idea's regards Mark

Does anyone know what there car charges at on idle?? is my alternator over charging my battery?? also does anyone know where the blue wire goes on the back of the alternator?? cheers mark
