2004 911 Turbo looking to put 19 inch tires on ?
I have a 2004 911 Turbo Cab with 225/40 ZR 18 FRONT
295/30 ZR 18 REAR
I have a chance to get 19 inch rims with 235/40/19 FRONTS
295/35/19 REARS
I Just don't want to buy them if its gonna hit the front strut tower or rub on the wheel wells? I know Porsche don't recommend it but what is your advice and is anybody running 19's on their 911? I love the look of the new rims but i might be better off buying new 18's with new tires without the worry if the fit is right or change is suspension. They want $3400.00 Thanks Joe

Practicality vs Looks
The ride will not be as smooth with the 19's, had them on my first turbo. You will feel the bumps more, looks wise I do like the 19's. Currently have stock 18's on the 04X50, will not change, prefer the ride with the 18's. Hope I saved you $3400

To say you will get better performance may be a misnomer, Porsche designs a car and its suspension based on certain input! So 19's might not do anything for performance!

Sizes of the tires are way off. A 295/35/19 rear is much to tall to fit. The front 235/40/19 rear is to tall as wall.
best overall setup for 19s with awd is a 245/35/19 front and a 295/30/19 or 305/30/19 rear.

Whether the wheels/tires will fit I can't say, but the front/rear tire diameters and the resulting revs/mile is wrong.
The fronts will make 787 revs/mile the rears just 761 revs/mile. There will be no torque transfer from the rear rear to the front diff.

What are the offsets on the 19" wheels? That will determine whether or not they will look good or out of place. My 19" HRE wheels are the perfect offsets and I don't get any rubbing with 235/35-19's in the front and 315/25-19's in the rear, and my car is lowered too. These sizes also keep the AWD coupling happy. If you do end up buying them, you should change the tire sizes as those tire sizes are not optimal, as has already been mentioned.

Nothing wrong with running 19's on these cars you just have to get the tire sizes and offsets right. The tires you are looking at are not a good size.
Just for reference, I am running 225/40-19 and 295/30-19 and my car is lowered. This keeps same ratio front to rear as stock which keeps AWD happy. Zero rubbing and my 19" wheel/tires are LIGHTER than stock.
