Secondary Air Pump Fault

Secondary Air Pump Fault
Car is 2002 996 TT. The engine light went on and drove it to a local shop. The pump, the Kombi valve, the solenoid are working. The hoses are fine and vacuum is good. So the only thing remains is a clogged duct to the exhaust; one bank has more air coming out of it then the other.
The question is, is there anyway to clean the body/duct (below the Kombi valve) without having to drop the engine??
Any help is appreciated!

Yes, it is the diverter valves. Usually.

When my valves went out I did get an air injection code ( forget the #) and a noticeable harmonic hum when the air injection pump was running on cold startups. I replaced the valves with the kayser OEM manufacture valves and they were junk. Over boosting and harmonic oscillation sound during driving. Sent those back to pelican and replaced with EVOms units and they have been working great since. You should be able to hear the pump run during cold startups. If not maybe it is toast.
