If the seats you have already come with brackets and sliders that fit a 996 you shouldn't need any adapter.
I use the Brey Krause adapter to bolt directly to the floor so that the seat is lower, however there is no for aft adjustment then.

Ok. Guy I bought these from had them in his 993...and told me I'd need those adapters.

You can actually just drill the sliders for the 993 to fit the 996.
The adapters would probably be easier but aren't necessary.
