Default Rear view mirror repaired...

Just got it back from Radar-Mirror.com. Cost $109 + $10 shipping. Don't recall when I sent the mirror out but it has been gone less than 2 weeks for sure.

Just opened the box and the mirror looks ok but of course I'll have to have it installed in the car to ensure the auto-dimming feature works.

Car is just two hundred miles away from its 155K mile service so Monday I'll take the car in for this and leave the mirror in the car and ask that the leaking mirror be removed and this repaired mirror installed.

The plan then is to send the 2nd mirror out and have it repaired and keep it handy just in case.

Lifetime warranty for $20 doesn't sound too bad. Did you get that?

Radars repair for my BMW mirror was excellent. Will not hesitate if or when the Pcar needs it.

Exactly the same behavior from the factory original mirror. Fine one day the next an oval shadow.
