^ so am i ( not a wimp but still ok with the poem setup ha ). i got stuck in la traffic for two hours on the way back from my techs place. even with the perfectly working hydraulics my leg ached after two hours crawling up PCH ..this car is NOT traffic friendly lol

dr cheap you might familiarize yourself with the difference btw the stock 996 turbo "sprung" disc VS the gt2 UNsprung disc that will accept a bit more abuse. its a very good setup and works on my mid level ( bolt on ) modded car. also, you won't know the condition of your DMFW until you open it up and see how much material it has remaining. you might well need a new one.
the gt2 disc is the only add on I've used. it works just fine w "added" power.

Thanks all-took a break from Pcars for my annual 3 day vintage karting event-two show winners and show winning kart took 3rd on the track,with and 3rd with jr 10yr old partner-all rear engined karts-a different ball game but been karting since 1958-next Sat all Porsche event at AMP with my TT...GROWING OLD IS MANDATORY-GROWING UP IS OPTIONAL....C

$3200 is way high. Skip the Aasco and stay with an OEM LWFW. What pressure plate and what disc are in the kit that you were quoted??? That's what you need to know.
