Minor squeaks and rattles

Mine seems to be coming from a little higher up...maybe the roof lining area. But of course, you GT3 guys don't have to worry about that. Try some teflon tape...that seem to work for my dash rattle.
My dealer says they don't fix rattles...not covered under warranty (some clause in the warranty). I'm not a guy that complains and nit & pick about every little thing, but certain things I have problems with, and it's that buzzing sound. It seems like they just need to tighten something up...but I guess I'll have to do it myself.

I took the advaice of JMT and took my 2002 996 tt in to the dealer to try to have them fix the rattles and the squeaks. To my pleasant surprice they were able to isolate and fix all of my complaints.
Complaint 1: Rattle from the center of dash board where it meets the windshield.
Solution: Front outer cover frame touched up
Complaint 2: Thumping noise from the left rear suspension when going over bumps.
Solution: Remove and install stabilizer bar coupling link.
Complaint 3: Driver's seat squeaks when shifting weight(this was the complaint that started this string, by the way)
Cause: Door latch out of adjustment.
My car feels like a totally different car without all those anoying squeaks and rattles and feels very solid when going over bumps.

The Auto Gallery in woodland hills. I got no complaints from them and they were very couteous. The guy who took the test drive with me is Rex and he was very good at deciphering the source of the noise.
