Default Works Bell CF paddle shift conversion install

Had my shop finally install my Christmas present today.
Works Bell carbon fiber paddle shift conversion kit along with Momo Jet CF 320 mm steering wheel.

So much more enjoyable to drive now. The paddle shift kit is so well engineered with only 7mm travel in paddle pull back.

Also had solid poly trans. mount installed too.

Let the spring mods begin!

Are there any good vids that show the paddle shifter on a 996TT? I wonder if the shifts are quick and deliberate or are they kind of slow and sloppy. I know it's not going to be as quick as say the PDK in the 991 GT3RS, but does it shift pretty quickly compared to the stock buttons or is it about the same as stock, just more fun and user friendly?

Ill shoot some vids as soon as it warms up & the salt is off the roads.

Yes, the shifts are much more precise & quick compared to the tip buttons on the front of the OEM wheel.
The unit is very well engineered with NO play at all in the paddle mechanism.
It has a great firm feel .

The down shifts have some lag due to the Porsche OEM tip trans ECU Not the WorksBell unit.

In order to really make a improvement in shift time u need to upgrade to the latest Gen. Porsche Tip/tans ECU program or purchase the Evoms Tip/trans ECU.

The purchase was well worth it. The WorksBell unit is light yrs. ahead of the Oem tip button system.

How do you like the 320mm wheel diameter? I am considering both 320-330mm or 350 mm. Does your steering wheel block your gages?

thanks

The 320 mm Momo wheel feels perfect.
It does not block guages.

Whether or not a smaller diameter steering blocks the gages is dependent on a combination of the steering wheel diameter, the driver's personal physical sitting height, and seat positioning.

I have a 340mm steering wheel and it blocks the top portion of my tach. I have a tall sitting height and drive with my seat full down.
