Default Powerchip ECU reprogram

Hi Guys,

Does any of you have any experience with the ECU reprogram from Powerchip? I am thinking of getting one for my 2002 996 tt tiptronic. They say I will get 477hp with no other modifications. Another concern I have is whether the increased power will adversly affect or alter the shifting pattern of the tiptronic in automatic mode.

I think you should give PowerChip a try. You will get 65hp to the wheels without any other modifications. So it's actually over what they stated.

As for the Tiptronic mode, they can tailor it to how you want it. If you want to leave it unchanged, I am sure they can do this.

Give PowerChip a call and ask for Wilber, he is quite knowledgable about Porsche.

based on other posts I've read, don't you guys recommending this need to disclose something here? Aren't at least one of you affiliated with Powerchip in some way?

I am considering the product, but, from what I've read here and elsewhere these posts make me very hesitant.

The guys at PowerChip are my friends and I have their software in my BMW, but I have no business affiliation with them. More specifically, I do not receive any compensation from them.

Wilber is a marketing consultant to PowerChip-- this relationship formed after he became a happy customer.
