PCA track events are where you will meet the younger crowd. The monthly club meetings could pass for AARP gatherings.

I agree, I only go to the track events, but at ours we get a good turn out of all ages. It's a great group of people and mix of ages.

Now that was funny. Especially since I bought my turbo from a British Septuagenarian (in San Diego). He was pretty spry though, apparently a runner and the driver's seat was in great condition as he probably weighed a buck fiddy. He thought the car was blazing fast bone stock at .7 bar...I wonder what he'd think now?

PCA for years. To Road King's image, my wife and I are the youngest members in our PCA region....and we're not young.

PCA member, but thinking of not renewing. I don't attend meetings or go for drives. One meeting I attended did not have any younger people.

We also felt a bit out of place at the PCA stuff around here as well as far as age goes, but the people are very kind and welcoming.

Your question brings to mind the famous Groucho Marx quote “I refuse to join to any club that would have me as a member”

Member of PCA and NASA. But:

My favorite club is my car country club, Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Nevada. My GT3 lives out there, while my turbo hangs out in NM. We have 6 miles of track currently.

Regards, Pranqster

Holy cow. 6 miles of track, and I imagine it's open year-round. I'm viper green with envy.
