Default Winter Tires and Rims!

Hey all, I need a set of winter tires for my 2004 996 Turbo Cabriolet. I understand that I will likely need a whole new set of rims because I cannot seem to find any winter tires that would fit the 18" original rims on it now. My current summer tires are only rated to 34 degrees F. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.. I don't know why I am having such a hard time finding something specific to my year and model. Thanks!!

you should run more narrow rims anyways. I have an extra set with snows but am located in Canada. check your local craigslist etc you will probably find lots.

Does anyone know which porsche wheels specifically does Porsche recommended as winter rims for the 996tt? Like the actual part number?

I ran 993 turbo twists on my 996 turbo with Blizzak LM60 tires. Perfect fit. Thing was awesome in the snow.

I run regular 996 twists on my snows. Lots around.
