I have a spare decklid in my garage that is waiting to become a ducktail.

The ducktail is the most classic and understated look for the 911's ever. Downforce be damned.

Buy the race base only (w/out top wing), fill the small side holes and you have a perfect ducktail for less than $2k.

Yes, this would be very cool, kind of like the Heritage one on the 992.

My car is strictly a street car, so I'm not too worried about it. A Turbo Touring, if you will.

If that's what the "new" ones look like? It's an amazing look. I think I've seen it on the 991's? But certainly the 992's Looks fantastic.

I just miss the days where you could have bought a replica Techart Type 1 wings for ~$400. Now no one has them. Any the one company that does, sells them for $1200.

I believe that that Strosek is a fairly close approximation of the Techart 1 design, no? Precision still makes them for about 800 or so.

The one I was referring to is the Techart Type 1. The knock offs came in carbon fiber like finish. I remember all the porsche vendors had them for cheap. I recall paying less than $500 for one many years ago. Then when I needed a second one last year they are non-existent, especially for that price.

Here is one that is on my current 996tt.

Is that a Joe Toth front splitter on your front end as well? Two things I've been eyeing for my 6TT. Hope I get a chance to see the car in person sometime (I'm local, River North)

I have that same wing. Precision made it, if my memory serves.
