03 TT price check
So I am about to pull the trigger on the 03 996TT, and it is a base car with nothing on it, just the way I like it.
It is new, and they are offering 10K off sticker. Is this the market price for 03 or should I try to go for more?
Oh and yes, it has the fast option, er, I mean, yellow paint.
Any pointers appreciated.

I should have mentioned that some dealers I contacted wouldn't budge off MSRP, so it really depends on the dealer. My impression is that the best deals to be made are in the East!
And shipping in enclosed carrier from East Coast to West Coast is $1500.

Stuka,
IMHO, base cars are hard to sell in LA, so I'm thinking that you should be able to get a bit more money off, but what do I know!
Also, Road & Track had an article in the new issue about how Porsche is "encouraging" dealers NOT to discount new turbos anymore in hopes that the market will get a little firmer.
I hope the tactic works!

It may be as good as it gets. Options raise the price and the margin, so I'd think that with no options, it would be hard to do much better. But, let us know if you can. AS
