Just curious if there are others on here close to the Charlotte area? Moved here a year ago from Jacksonville. Looking forward to finally driving in some mountain roads.

I'm just up 77 in Statesville. Moved up from FL (Seffner and wife is from Jax) about 10 years ago. North-North West of Charlotte is the driving you are looking for. Hell just a drive to the gas station is fun here.

The Hickory PCA chapter is one of the most active in the state if you are interested in group activities as well.

I've met a few people south of Charlotte as well. Plenty of "Porsche people" around.

 

I'm from Hickory originally and concur that the Hickory chapter is excellent. TONS of amazing mountain/foothills roads in NC to drive, besides just the well known ones like the Tail of the Dragon. Enjoy!
