Default Hoses while I'm in there ??

What have you guys had fail in the NON-WATER hose arena in the engine compartment? This could include other items connected to the hoses like check valves, etc.
I started looking at all the plastic & rubber vacuum hoses and lines that connect our engine systems before putting the eng/trans back in and nearly convince myself to swap on new stuff. 20k on the engine but everything is 13 years old so I start to overthink this and nearly ordered a bunch of pieces today.
Maybe some of those experienced with this, or in the hi mileage club can chime in. Heat cycles progresses aging and if they didn't need replacing for you, leave well enough alone. Maybe Porsche engineered the lines for 40 years or something, eh?

I was just wondering the same thing but I'm working on the radiator. Decided to change all 3 radiators and was wondering about 14 yr old radiator hoses?? Replace or leave them alone??

I bought all new water hoses and radiators while the car is down so I don't have one pop out on the road when I least want it, plus it's all apart anyway... Tracking down a coil pack in MT for a BMW was a good learning experience, guys at Red Lodge NAPA are great!

I replaced my water hoses with radiators too. I'm glad I did, Porsche updated them.

in general, the air/fuel hoses are holding up well in my area...climate and care are important factors...do an inspection and go from there, never hurts to do it while you're in there...
