I've had zero overheating even under heavy track use in +100F heat at +5000' elevation, even with 14 year old radiators. The cooling system on the Mezger cars is amazing.

+1 factory stuff is pretty good, although after hard-running and coming to an idle/slow speed, factory rads would allow the temps to creep up by about 20*F over 'normal', not critical by any means, but CSF keeps it stable...but GT2/3 only have 1 fan...
Main benefit to me is CSF or similar is lack of plastic to fail

I have never seen a stock cooling system handle track duty so well in any car.

The radiators you linked are the N/A Carrera radiators. The Turbo ones are about 80% more expensive

Current price on the Turbo radiators is $420-460 each depending where you buy them. I just ordered all 3 yesterday.

They sell Behr/Hella which is a little cheaper than OEM. AKG makes the OEM radiators. Probably not much different but I prefer OEM.

I bought one from Porsche and an AKG online. They are identical, including casting numbers and stickers. There was also " Behr" on both. Buy the cheapest of these, as they are one in the same.

Rock Auto has PRO brand welded aluminum radiators on there for $250. Anybody tired these? I may be needing some radiators soon.

Amazon also shows the two side radiators, Hella, for $204 shipped with prime.

Agree.

One of the first things I noticed after I got my Turbo is how little the coolant temp goes up and down. With my Boxster the needle moves to the right and back sometimes a couple of needle widths.

With the Turbo the needle barely gets off the "180" hash mark. And it is not just due to a more heavily dampened gage. The engine coolant temperature is just more consistent.

I attribute this to not only a good cooling system -- and 3 radiators -- but the superior aerodynamics of the Turbo. Under conditions that would have my Boxster running its radiator fans at high speed the Turbo's fans are not even on. The car's aerodynamics just encourages air flow through the radiators.

The pictures doesn't look like the correct application and the part number reference is a N/A 997 part.

The pictures at Rockauto are often not of the exact part.

The left and right side radiators on a 997 Turbo are the same as a 996 Turbo. The center is different. So a 997 part number for a side radiator might be correct.
