Default Wheel Color - Help Me Decide!

Buying new wheels...I am normally good at picking exactly what I want but I am laboring over this one. Thought I'd go the easy route and ask for input from the internet. LOL

Going back to 18" rims on my barritz white 2001 996 TT and have settled on Race Tech Forged Track Spec-5 rims. Done and ordered.

The only sticking point is the color - I'm torn between Brushed Titanium, Brushed Black Titanium or Brushed Gold.

I've had gloss black rims on my cars for well over 5 years so I am not interested in that option.

Thoughts??

My car:

Gold (supposedly will look something like this):

Well I like the titanium it's an understated mature and refined choice, where as the gold is LOOL AT ME.

I'd keep your current blacks if it were my car but of the choices, I'd go black titanium.

But I'd drool the most over gold on someone's else's car!

I think gold would go great with your white TT, but the gold on those wheels is a bit too much. The gold color similar to the one on BBS rims would have perfect.
So my choice would be the black titanium.. Has a bit more contrast than just titanium finish but not as much as the black wheels you are used to. Good luck on your decision.

I like the brushed titanium and the black titanium. I think I like the brushed titanium more because you can see the "brushed" more. Maybe it's just the pics but I like that you can see the brush work on the brushed titanium.

I think the gold will be a bit too much. Perhaps a bronze or a copper??

BTW, that's a beautiful choice of wheel you got there. Congrats

Since you're asking...I'd go brushed Ti. To my eye the gold and white combo seems a little too Las Vegas Caeser's Palace kind of look

Gold

Everybody has black and some shade of gunmetal.
How about RED?

More importantly what do you have planned with the current wheels. I have a Carrera white 996 and am dead set on black, or maybe a hyperblack if a deal pops up.

Sorry, how is that more important than my thread topic here?

You first give me an answer to my thread question...and then I'll tell you the current gloss black 19" BBS F1's will be for sale, as soon as my new rims arrive. (1-2 weeks)

I love black on white, it give it a very gt2 look. If not black go with the brushed titanium, it gives the same accent as black but with more wheel definition.

I like the brushed black titanium so get the gold so I can get the black Ti for mine! ; )

Gold looks bright. Or maybe I'm too conservative with my wheels.
