Good value?

Good value?
I have the opportunity to buy a MT 996TT. It's blue on blue (metropol blue interior) and dark blue exterior (i forget the color code). Has full fabspeed exhuast, roll cage, some suspension upgrades, DV's, turbo actuators and a few other small pieces. 25k miles/40k KM. asking 63kCAD/44k USD. If PPI checks out, does this seem like a good buy?

Model year would help, the mods are a negative to most but to others a plus= will reduce selling pool when you decide to move on. More info needed like year DME readout.

whoops, thats pretty dumb of me. It's a 2002. Mods are a plus to me, as I plan to mod the car anwyays. Comes with all stock parts too. Options are basically just all the leather options and that's it. aluminum-look trim.

Some pics would help as far as color combo= of course I like blue lol. The mods will save you some money and the price is on the lower side for year/miles, would be worth more stock but that works in your favor.

I've got a midnight blue, and am partial to blue. Resale will not be a bummer as many people don't want the silver/grey cars that flood the market. Price is good if it checks out scoop it up.

Dark blue exterior could be midnight blue. A guy who lived next door to me for a while had a 993 Turbo in this color. Very nice looking car but it was quite dark and is as close to a black car as you can get without getting a black car. He parked it under a carport and covered it with a car cover. I kept an eye on it and when it got loose in the wind would go over and fix the cover so it stayed on the car.

those are all in all, great mods. except not "wild" about the fabspeed., depends on which one i'd venture? but the car itself will tell the tale! rmc1148 still has plastic footwell papers from a dealership/garage placed delicately above the floorboards ( and presumably the mats as well lol ) of his car! of course mods are useless to him lol

That MY with those low miles and mod's... that's got to be a track car. (Look for rubber ***** on top of the plastic underbody panels.)

Black without being black.. Perfect, my swirl OCD wouldn't be able to handle a black car.

Right now on craigslist it's the most I've seen in a long while:
05 Black $60k
02 Gray $48k (tip)
02 Silver $49k
03 Black $48k (tip)
03 Grey $48k
01 Red $42k (tip)

Have the DME overrev counters read along with timestamps of the last events and the total engine runtime.
Divide engine run time into the total miles on the odometer. Around 30mph is "average". Lower by some significant amount is a blouevard cruiser. Higher by some amount could be due to a cross country tourer -- but with low miles unlikely -- or a car that has seen lots of track time.
And look onto top of the plastic underbody panels.

You think a car with a blue interior has as much resale interest as a black interior?
