I replaced mine due to a cel pointing to vacuum leak. Replaced with champion which are forged three years ago and still going strong!

No sound effects since the blow off happens in the intake and not externally.

Getting rid of the stock airbox will allow you to hear the blow off, but also probably cause power loss due to heat...

The question is do the Forge DVs hold the boost for longer on a tuned car or is that simply all marketing >BS ??

LNo idea most of the ones I have seen are cheap piston style. I see alot of Porsche aftermarket sell these for significant money You can buy them for like $30 ebay or $250 from a porsche shop and they work alright. I personally like the factory style valves. The piston styles all leak at low pressure obviously very minimal. They do hold well once pressure increases.

I never noticed much sound change with this style unless it's vented to atmosphere if not running mafs

Thoughts on the Kayser? When I purchased my car, the owner gave them to me since the originals needed to be replaced. People seem to be swapping for aftermarket, thoughts on how to proceed?

Sharkwerks etc claim they are a must for tuned cars with more than 1 bar boost, thats why I am confused that OEM is apparently good enough. I like the look of Chrome ones
