I use it here and my mountain place on occasion because I spend so much time in the woods, but try not to= bad stuff. I have used it near my equipment but its mostly OEM camo film so not sure if it would effect it. They stated some have used it with bad end results to restore their headlights.

Yes, bad stuff.

I generally stay out of the woods during bug season, preferring to wait until late Fall or Winter to get out in that environment.

I hear you but I don't have a choice. I will be more careful when spraying it around paint.
