Default Auto door lock programming

Just wonder if there is any OBD2 program/ kit in the market which allows an individual to program the auto door lock function? My doors will not be locked up automatically and I am trying to have it locked when the car moves, just that I don't want to go to the dealer. I guess that would control the air conditioner as well? Thanks,

if a durametric wont allow that feature, then a dealership it will have to be.

I believe this can also be sorted with the RemoteTop dongle. I know there is the option to auto-lock (at 5mph I believe) and unlock upon ignition off. Cabrio not required - I believe. If you've got a cabrio though? Definitely worth it in my opinion. Check my thread over on the 6 for more info.

Mine is a coupe. I have a BMW E46 cab and could get the OBD2 with software to program the top, window, door lock, a/c, etc, so I just wonder if the same is available for 996.

Not sure. I'm confident that one of the guys with a Durametric setup will chime in before too long. Poke around on 6Speed, too. Might get your answer sooner. Good luck.
