Dyi or Indy for atf change?
Car is stalling into reverse, I'm betting I'm low on atf. What's going rate for an atf fluid change? Top off?

Unless there is sign of a leak the behavior is probably not due to low fluid.
Checking/topping up is tricky. The fluid must be between 30C and 40C. The selector lever should be in "P" and the engine idling. The heater/AC must be switched off. The vehicle must stand "horizontally". (I have no idea...)
The level is "right" when there is a slight amount of ATF escaping at the control screw bore.
The sealing ring for the cap nut must be replaced and the cap nut tightened to 30 ftlbs.
A new sealing ring should be used and the screw tightened to 16 ftlbs.
Changing the fluid is even more work.
Probably should have an experienced shop do this work.
I'd probably just change the fluid along with the filter.

I had a stalling issue with my 996TT, manual, it was a bad fuel pump, FWIW. Also, I don't have a tip, but I've read on the forum here that low battery voltage can also cause it to stall. Good luck!

Checked the manual and thanks macs for taking the time regurgitate what my lazy **** should have just looked up. Got it sorted, atf level was fine. I've been neglecting the battery tender and finally put it to use. Crazy how many issues this car can have directly related to voltage.
