RWD Solutions
I'm thinking quite seriously of trying RWD. I plan to remove everything rather than just disconnect the drive shaft. With the shaft disconnected, I feel the trucky heavy steering will remain. I want C2 or Boxster steering and I want tail happy 911 steer with the throttle handling. I'm on KWV1 coilovers at GT2 ride height with GT3 type adjustable rear sway.
I really don't want to trash or even disassemble my OE axles as they are still near perfect with only 27K miles. Looking for a reasonable priced solution, maybe someone going back to AWD with stubs available? Any ideas?

i would enquire with the known indie porsche shops in major metro areas be your best shot, as mine for example always has stubbed axles lying around for just this purpose. guys constantly going rwd or converting back car for sale etc.
i think you can find stubbed axles usually for around few hun a pair? used. but you'll get yer throttle steering all right

you don't have to trash the stub axles to use them. remove the bearing clip and drop the bearings out clean them and put them away. remove the stub and install it into the car. if you decide to go back to awd reassemble the bearings and clip grease and reinstall into the car

I'm working on an affordable and simple solution. In the mean time I'm open to used stubs or axles.

Thanks, I realize that. Even though I have several pair of retaining ring pliers fairly often one is problematic to remove and gets distorted or sprung to the point it should not be reused. I'd rather do a simple and clean dis-assembly. My axles have under 30K miles and I'd prefer to leave them intact.
