Wife told me I can get any car I want, as long as it can fit child seats.

I've been really lucky, she's grown to really like the cars that come in and out of our garage...the only tough thing is when I flip one that she actually likes...then I hear it...so I picked up a 955 for her and she seems really happy with it...Happy wife happy life..now my 11 year old daughter loves the sounds of the Turbo's she asks for a turbo blast so she can hear the whoosh....

My wife refers to herself as the 'car widow' when I get a new ride. She knows she isn't going to see me much for awhile. LOL

Mine figures I'm better off spending my time and $ on cars versus booze, drugs and (younger) women! She liked it a whole lot more when I had a 996TT Tip vs all manual trans cars now, but if it bothered her that much she'd learn to drive stick! I'll get a PDK car some day; she'll be happier..

Girlfriend drives a Lotus. Zero problems with going out on a drive with her. Or explaining why I want to go on an hour drive to nowhere.

My wife drives our Turbo too so "going for a drive" is done by both of us.

Include your wife in your Turbo fun and all your fun in general. Happy wife means happy life.

Wouldn't have bought the car without her support, we went for our first ride together last night, was fun, and she's excited to learn how to drive it well enough not to embarrass herself, and work up to taking it to work one day to show off. It's cute, and I'm extremely lucky.

This is the same woman that bought me a 260Z when I had no money as 2nd car, at the time, and dealt with me completely disassembling it and rebuilding everything and installing a chevy V8 and a 5 speed over the course of about 5 years time. All the while parking outside! Typing that all out makes me realize it even more, how lucky I am!

Easy. I bought her a Porsche, too. Now, all is completely understood.

I bought an '03 Carrera several years ago and got my wife into driving autocross and DEs with it. She loved it so much she wanted a GT3 so I bought her an '04--twist my arm honey! We still have the GT3 (and a 996TT) but she retired from the track and I am usually the only one driving it now.

My wife calls my turbo "the death rocket." Clubsport coil overs and 76mm Europipe have made it quite a bit worse.

The wife has been in the car maybe 5 times in 8 years.

My daughter and I go for a drive almost every weekend. She is hoping for a fully caged Boxster for her first car
