Default h&r coilover review(pictures)

have the 'revised' version of the h&r coilover installed in my car and absolutely love it.no knocking or slam dunk look.ride is much more compliant under hard acceleration n slightly stiffer than stock.no problems with steep driveway/road humps.front with 7mm spacer n rear 14 mm spacer.

Spacers go between the wheel and hub.

Will H&R give you any kind of credit if you installed the first version of the coil over, before they came out with the new one?

thanks to this forum n other sources i did not install the h&r sway bar n the dealer reluctantly took it back, though he still maintain there is no problem.with the exception of a few,i would say most dealer of aftermarket products dont know their product(manufacturers) they are representing.

I know for a fact that my H&R coilovers (the old model) don't adjust that high on the front. Looks nice!!!

That is one sweet looking ride, congrats! Any info on the as-installed pricing of your H&R setup? Who did you have paint your chin spoiler and side skirts for you?

I am in agreement w/ the rest the folks, nice use of texture on the driveway.

I've got the 19" HRE 540R...They are for sale BTW. I'm going back to 18s because I love the Michelin Pilot Sport Cups so much

Let me know if anyone is interested.

We are currently working with H&R to get a taller front spring made for the previous version coilovers.

This set will be complimentary for those with ride height issues.

I am not sure on the time frame yet. H&R Germany in the summer months moves at a snails pace.

I will keep the boards posted.

Thanks!

gney996,
Love that car! I particularly like the rear view. I think red looks great on this car.
