Default Gasoline in NJ, Upstate NY and Penn

Are there any gasoline shortages or line ups in NJ, Penn, or Upstate?
Driving down from Buffalo to NJ thru Penn on Saturday, hoping there are no line ups.

Yes, yes we do.

Too bad its $2.05 a gallon in NY, though its probably a good 30-40 cents cheaper in NJ than NY.

All the gas stations were up and running here in NY with no lines, as usual.

OK that is enough, stop bragging. We get the crappy 91 octane that is also oxygenated which means are cars are getting 3-5 Miles Per Gallon less than non-oxygenated gas

About prices, I go to a less expensive station and it is 2.25 a gallon for 91 WTF, the most I've seen this week is 2.49 a gallon and just 3 weeks ago It was 1.75. What a F*@king joke. Now one thing I don't understand is why is are gas oxygenated? I thought California was trying to get cleaner air but if you are using more gas than you are putting more emissions into the air. Why not 93/94 octane? Doesn't higher octane produce less carbon and it burns cleaner? Someone please explain. Or is it because we live in CA, that we have to bend over even more and grab are ankle's.

Higher octange gas does not produce less carbon or burn cleaner. Higher octane just means the fuel is more resistant to detonation.
