Ok, so i got the GT 3 seats and roll bar installed, but unlike the roll cage, there does not seem to be a horizontal cross-member on which to attach the fire extinguisher. Where does it belong and if anybody can share pics if the installation is not totally obvious, that would be appreciated.

I got a similar question, BK makes two seat mounts, and I'm not sure which one to use on the GT3 seat.

I have the roll cage, but I didn't see any mount for the cage on the BK site. I posted my question on the racing forum.

I mount mine on the diagonal bar, behind the passenger seat. I would not want it on the horizontal cross-member (right at head height) in case it becomes dislodged and turns into a missle in a crash. I can reach it and release it while belted in. I made my own bracket out of a length of roll bar padding (cut to length) and 3 stainless steel hose clamps. Not elegant, but it has passed tech 3 times now.

If you want to go with Brey Krause and you have GT3 seats then you must use the 2030 mount and 9030 substrap bar.

Your welcome! BTW, I have an extra new BK 9030 substrap bar. If you are thinking of going that route let me know. I ive in San Francisco so I could easily get the bar to you so you could take a look.

Just for reference, I am the guy that bought Watt's first GT2.

Would love to meet and see the white beast some time...
