help .. how do i remove the cigar lighter from the back of the upper console

i'm changing out my upper console and i can't get the cigar lighter out from it . there must be an easyway any ideas? thanks

two little clear tabs on the inside have to be pushed in , now i have a nice alu upper console installed

Here'ss a "pet-peeve" I have..
Why is it that cigarettes are not "pc" yet Cigars are?
