180 gallons per hour is one thirsty boat. I hope it goes over 100 mph or sleeps 20.
I've got a 270 mph pressurized twin engine plane that only burns 35 g/p/h and I complain about my fuel burn (at 5-7 buck a gallon). guess I'm getting off easy compared to you

The plane I fly burns ~6 gallons every 15 seconds in cruise. Fortunately, I don't have to pay for the fuel.

+1 Dock. 767-300ER burning 12,000 lb/hr here. My boat burns 36gph @ 18 knots.

Back to the turbo, X50 with tune and a Tip gets 13 or so in town and 25-26 on the freeway.

180 gallons per hr you are talking a 65 + ft sport fish with twin 2,000 Hp diesels running at 90%. If so nice ride!

Somebody needs to design a stop/start as a retro fit, it makes a massive difference for town driving

Today I was able to manage about 27 mpg on a ~200 mile cruise. This was all highway driving though.

I average about 16mpg. The cluster is actually pretty accurate being about .5mpg off from actual calculated. I mostly drive in town and back roads.

One of the jets I used to fly burned over 6.5 gallons every second at max effort on the engines.

Not mgp related, but is that Navigation DVD based or hard drive based? Pardon me for digressing from the topic....

Cheers,

I have no problem with the bad gas mileage as the car is so fun at boost.

It's having to fill it up all the time! 400 km and the light is on. My 86 goes 600 km and I went to 800 km on a long trip.

The tank on the TT is so much smaller.

Neither do I, but i couldn't believe that a car from this day and age would have such bad gas mileage. I reset the clock and got it up to 21 mpg. I couldn't do any better, but am glad it can get more than 20 if i need it to.

i've long since resigned myself to my 15-17mpg average and the fact the it's about a buck a mile in run costs. it's like 20 bucks to the store and back lol ..gotta pay to play..

Same here. Overall average is about 17mpg, mainly highway, but WOT whenever possible.
