Question 996 with stock turbos - 500whp??

Just curious,

Does anyone here know what kind of whp a 996tt can produce with stock turbos?

With basic mods (intake/exhaust/chip) and stock K16 turbos can a 996tt make 400whp or do they just not have enough flow?

You can certainly make 500 flywheel HP (400 wheel HP) with an intake/exhaust/chip. For example, the EVO stage 2 dynos at 505 flywheel HP, and I believe just over 400 wheel HP. There are dyno charts available at http://www.evoms.com/porsche%20ec%20art.htm.

Thanks for the information,

That is a lot of power for stock turbos.

Overboosted turbos = blown turbos and sometimes blown engine.
