Have you tried CEC. I've had some luck with them, it just depends on the part. The big problem is if you have to special ordered.

I know Sheng, the VP at CEC and even with that I couldn't get a discount. Supposedly CEC will not discount in order to preserve the market. I've been told that the only way to buy stuff cheaper is through a CEC distributor who is hungry to get any business they can (such as F1 Motorsports in the Valley). Also if you can find stuff on their clearance list or let them use your car as a showroom car they will give you a big break.

If anyone knows differently, let me know so I can have a chat with my contact at CEC

You know, I think it’s one of those relationship things. The more you do business with a company the more they get to know you and (I would hope) value your business. I’m not sure how deep the Techart list prices are but (as an example) I’ve purchased a lot of Sparco gear from CEC and am able to get better pricing on the Techart pieces. My main gripe is on special order items. They never seem to arrive. MSINDI, what are interested in ?
