Newbie question: How to tell if car is tuned?
Just purchased a 2003 911 turbo.
The boost goes up to 1.2 bar.
How can I determine what tune the car has? I have no information from the previous owner.
Thanks
edit....not sure if 1.0 bar or 1.2 bar.

Does it have a service history from a dealer you know about? I found out mine was from a local dealer who sold the original owner a GIAC tune and other goodies.

1.2 bar boost? The engine is tuned or it is full of exceptionalism.

I think this is the more important question. I have a friend also curious about this, but I haven't seen any way to actually determine this.

pull the ecu and look for stickers...tuners usually put stickers as to what ecu tune has been done.

I did that. No sticker. I guess you could eliminate having an old tune or one where a chip was actually soldered into the board.
is there a known list of tuners that do put stickers on the ECU? that could eliminate those ones.
I suspect I have one from Fabspeed (EVMOSit) as my car has their exhaust, tips, and cats installed on it. I am guessing they installed the exhaust components at the same time the tune when on it.

Correct. I know it is tuned, hoping to find out a way to determine the supplier.
Thanks for posts.

Too much boost? That's the same as saying too much power and there ain't no such thing.
