What I learned this week.

What I learned this week.
I learned that my car (996TT with manual trans.) has a one way clutch pulley on the alternator that can seize. When operating properly the clutch can be slipped in the reverse direction with your finger tips.
Tip transmission 996's have a fixed pulley, other than that the same alternator with a different part number.
With the tools pictured from Amazon for $15, one can change the clutch pulley without removing alternator.

great subject line "What I learned this week"
I learned that 2 clicks toward less damping/faster return on PSS10s is a night and day difference with my 996TT on the track…..(made for a bumpy drive home too)
