Default WEVO V's RSS Engine Mounts

Hi all,
Really enjoy following this great forum.
I have heard a lot good reports about semi solid engine mounts and just wondering if anyone can tell me if there is much of a difference between Wevo and RSS.

Appreciate any feedback and thanks in advance.

Prepare for more noise in the cabin.

From what I have read the noise is not excessive, I dont mind a bit of noise.

took about 6 weeks and i was used to it. nice visceral feel in the cabin and handling is vastly improved. but i'm not sure it's optimal for a dd, and i've taken a lot of the dd "comfort" out of the car to increase feedback from the car. this is a great and simple/cheap way to do this.

they are virtually the same. semi's whether rss or wevos ( or so i am told and they look and function similarly ( its a motor mount )

best 300 mod ever. i have the wevos. seconding. they work well.

I'm wondering if these would handle some of the sway I feel in the car's handling that I'm trying to fix with sway bars?

if by "sway" you mean "flex" in lateral sweepers? yes, i would think sway bars will help immensely esp on a lowered car. a lowered car with sway bars in concert w semi solid motor mounts is VASTLY improved over stock. it will be flat as a rail. it's that good.

..and simply replacing the motor mounts w/ semi-solids will minimize much of the engine flex you barely but noticeably feel under harder lateral stress. while as others have said, increasing engine to cabin vibration. that has been my experience.

My experience - it does increase vibration and noise some
Mine is a DD, roughly 25k miles a year
whether objectionable is purely a personal matter
To me, with no nore plans to track the car, the improved "feel" is worth the trade-off

I would add to get the full benefit of the motor mounts, you need to upgrade the tranny mount. The 997 tranny mount is a good option

I have heard that upgraded tranny mounts transmit very high levels of noise and vibrations.

the more you do to make it a 911 again, the more you''ll hear and feel.

i have the torque solutions motor mounts and did the 74 durometer mod to my oem tranny mount . the ONLY vibration i feel is if i rest my hand on the shifter while decelerating. add a touch of gas and its gone.
