Nice build, are the tires rubbing at all in the front or rear?

Nope. I have 1 finger gap all around. I couldn't tell you the offsets... they're custom from DPE.

The car is still at the body shop. The shop will let me know when the car is taken apart. Hopefully I can show you guys what the car looks like taken apart and the paint stripped. The windows need to be taken out and new moldings were ordered. I still haven't got a quote for the rear euro bumper conversion and rear wiper delete.

For now here's a teaser pic!

Nice pic of front diff.

Looks good. My ride improved as well when I went from a worn stock suspension to a new X73. The handling really improved.

Thanks! I really wanted to go with the x73 but they're so hard to find. Luckily the H&R street performance coil overs are not as harsh as I was expecting. As a matter of fact, they ride much better than my old stock suspension which had to be worn!

I think I got the last one or close to the last one. Ordered from Carnewal and he had to hunt it down. Then about a month later people started posting that they weren't available.

Had I known, I would have left it in the box and made some money.

Nah! I like it too much.

Since you're going RWD, what kind of LSD are you going with? Highly recommend Guard. One of the best performance mods you can do to these cars.

I was thinking of staying open diff for a while. I feel that for the street, I have plenty of grip in the rear due to the michelin tires and rear weight bias. I saw your thread on the Guard LSD a few weeks ago. I think it's a mod I would do after I do the 997 SSK and speedtech 3.0 x pipe exhaust.

Just got a call back from the shop owner. I'll try to get some pictures this Saturday or next Saturday. I got my DSLR and Lightroom 5 ready

Just a few updates...

1. I got a quote for $400 for the rear euro bumper conversion and $300 for the rear wiper delete (hole welded shut). My rear bumper has the parking sensors and I originally, I wanted those holes filled in. The problem is the parking holes are right on curved edge of the bumper so making that surface smooth would have been challenging ($$$). I entertained the idea of buying someone else's modded bumper without parking sensors. The problem is removing the parking sensors throws off codes. I called Durametric and even their race pro version won't clear it. I called a local Porsche dealership and they're charging way too much just to clear the code. Buying another bumper and having the code cleared would have cost well over $1000.

2. I may need new door sills since they have to be removed to get the paint in. Any suggestions as to where to get a good deal?

3. I entertained the idea of going with a fixed roof. I got a quote of $4800 to have this conversion done. The alacantara headliner is ridiculously expensive. I decided to defer this mod.

4. Rear turbo badge... keep it chrome or go with satin black?

I'm going for the euro rear bumper conversion and soon these brackets will be cut off. It's anchored with rivets so it should come off easily. Unfortunately I don't have pics of the rear bumper. I couldn't find it anywhere in the shop and the shop owner was not available.

Rear wiper delete!

For those curious how the rear wing unscrews...
