What are your thoughts on some the most attractive interior/exterior color combinations for the 996tts?
I'm currently looking at a GT Silver Metallic with the Boxster Red full leather interior. I have to say it looks dynamite. I was looking at a Black/Black and it just seems boring.

i once had a tt with polar silver against metro blue and it has a great hue and it seems to change depending upon light conditions. only problem was it kept reminding me of a bret easton ellis book like "less than zero". ( never mind )..

then i had arctic silver against basic black leather interior and it's fine if not as you say, boring. so i partially covered it externally in matte black scotch tape. now it's easier to find in parking lots. the combo you mention sounds great, but i think my favorite which i will never have.. is carrera white with the cinnamon(?) leather int. thinking that's the best. though..the midnight blue against...etc. lol

My favorite are Black or Midnight Blue Metallic. My absolute favorite was Ocean blue, (only avail 1 or 2 years) with Savanna Beige, or Cinnamon Brown interior.

Actually, I assume he's looking at a 2005. When the 997/987 came out GT Silver Metallic became an option and so, since 996TTs bled over one model year, 2005 Turbos could be had in GT Silver.

I have, next to each other in my garage, a 2002 Artic Silver TT and a 2004 GT Silver Boxster S 550. It's hard to overstate how much better the GT Silver looks when sitting next to the Artic. Alas, away from each other, very few people ever notice anything about the Boxster's paint other than it's silver...
