I've read some good things about the Fister exhaust and wonder if it's all
true. Certainly the price can't be beat. Any user comments would be appreciated.

 

Went and looked on his site and FD Motorsports no mention of the 996tt exhaust??? Looks like only non turbo exhausts for the Carrera! Am I missing something?

 

The exhaust on a TT is different than Normally Aspirated (NA). You can't do a Fister mod on a Turbo. Best you can do is to drill a hole right in the exhaust pipe with a 1" - 2" hole saw. Search on either here for on 6SO for a long running thread.

 

With so many good aftermarket options available, why experiment?

 

Because the aftermarket exhausts are priced as if these are still $100K cars. If a $200 option makes it sound as good as a $4K option, well, you and I can do the math.
