I think you're light by a few $ hundred. I heard they were $700-800.

Wow. Is that for the rebuild service or a rebuilt module?

That was to trouble shoot the module & fix it. I think they usually end up having a cracked solder joint so the repair isn't to complex. Not sure what it would cost if there are bad components.

Check out xemodex.com. They list a repair and return service for 149. Might be worth a call.

It still strikes me as bizarre that both PaleAle and Seabrook would develop this issue after they both changed wheels and tires.

Was any other work done at the time the wheels were switched?

Agree 100%. The tech in me would be combing over the harnesses and sensors.

Update:

I ordered the OEM Brake Light Switch from Pelican and installed it my self. No luck.

I ordered the OEM Mass Air Flow Sensor off of Amazon Prime and installed in. No luck.

I disconnected the battery for two days. No luck.

I had a four wheel alignment done on Oct 11 because I went from OEM 997 19s to OEM 996 18s as the steering wheel was off by a noticeable amount. Once the above was all done I decided to drive the car up to Ferrari of Houston to pick up some parts which is about 60 miles round trip. This is a much longer drive than I usually take around my area.

The PSM and ABS lights have not come back on since that alignment and longer than normal trip.

So it looks like Carlo was right and the car has relearned the wheels? I hope it stays off, it drove me nuts.

Cheers, Mat

One week (7days) and about 150 miles in the books, no issues. So far so good.

32krazy!,

I am convinced that the alignment was a factor in this. Once a proper alignment was done the lights have not come back on.

Awesome news Seabrook. That error code was a bitch to overcome.
