So what is the point?
That the 996tt is still the bargain of the century and one of the most under appreciated cars of all time?

On that, intelligent minds can agree.

I still look at a 993 and think, that is a beautiful car. But I live in Texas and good AC in the Summer is not optional.

I agree. I like the fact that my car has a manual transmission with 450hp. Cars nowadays with that kind of power are dual clutch automatics with electric steering. My car forces me to be a better driver. For me, perfect heel-and-toe downshifts on a corner are so satisfying.
