Default Alternatives to OEM Rotors / Brake Discs

Before I completely give up on this forum for being the "living dead" what are my alternatives to OEM TT Rotors which save significant weight pls ??

I don't think you will save much weight really. But there is plenty of alternative for superior braking. Alcon, Girodiscs, dbo. Performance friction...etc

thanks for the comments, PCCB's are expensive I guess though circa 8- 10 K ?

Girodisc slotted rotors/floating hub -Pagids- setup. Not much of a weight saver, but a must if you track your car.

I spent a weekend at Circuit of the Americas, really hard track on brakes. Not a single issue all weekend.
A ZR1 vette cracked a rotor, plenty of people had issues. My pro driver instructor (25 years experience, experience with pro racing teams) after 1 particularly good session on track said: "This car has the best brakes I've ever seen."

Good enough for ya?

I have good results running SEBRO slotted rotors. No weight savings, however less $ than the floating disc types.

I do not know how much PCCBs cost to add. I know, well, hear that replacement parts for cars with PCCBs from the factory are expensive roughly on the order of the ($)8 to ($)10 K range you give.

Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?

Light weight costs money. How light do you want to go?

Best price I have for some PCCB's is 15K !

Also went with the Sebro slotted rotors and PFC01 all around. Will be installing along with fluid changes ahead of LSeca March30th. I've not had good brake setups in the past and hoping this helps for track use.

I run Pagid Yellow (front) and Black (rear), the pads and rotors last longer compared to drilled rotors.

girodics save you some 10-16lbs of rotational mass, that's huge and they are very affordable at 3k roughly for all 4 corners plus last a long time

^ Being "floating hubs" also means that you can replace rotors, keep same hubs.
I just ordered a set of front rotors from Craig myself, after COTA they were done for! (I had run them for about a year's worth of track events before that, though).
