broke center counsel
If you break the hinges for your center counsel lid
Porsche # 996 552 96001
cheap
took 25 minutes by an amateur
better thsn replacing that section

Are you referring to the rear lid on the center console?

I think Carreras and alike below 2002 had the plastic console hinge which was known to break, and a replacement PN for the hinge was offered. I think since then the hinge was changed.
