The dealer said they would take my car in on trade with the OEM Sport Techno Wheels. That being said, those that have expressed an interested in the GT3/turbo offset wheels, please pm me with your best offer so I know what both deals will net me for my business. The wheels are a solid 9 out of 10 condition with a total of about 5k miles since new. One has a small blemish on the outer lip, about 3 inches long and less than 1/4 inch into the rim, from what appears to be a very slight scrape - not me of course. A few of the spokes have surface scuffs due to the fact the 4 wheels were stacked one on top of another for 7 years. I am being critical and most if not all could be fixed by a good polishing. The tires have very good tread, 7 to 8/32nds, but are from 2004 and Michelin says 10 years then toss. They were in a temperature controlled office so no sunlight or extreme temperature swings so they look like new but still, I'm just saying.

Used them to take care of my 928 for 10 years or so. Now my nearest P-car dealer is 190 miles away! Yikes

Yes, it is Metropol Blue. I believe people confuse this color with the much lighter and brighter blue in the 993s. It is a very dark navy, almost a blue black. Many people who get in the car believe it is black. The main telling is the carpet is lighter than the leather so you can see the blue color more. Personally, I find the color combo with the exterior white stunning. It isn't as harsh as black and white but to each their own.

Bitter sweet day today. I took my turbo for its last drive up to red rocks west of Denver. I decided to trade it in to the local Porsche dealer tomorrow since they are going to give me a $4,100 tax credit towards the purchase of another car for up to a year. My plan is once my new business is profitable in 6 to 9 months I will buy another p-car. Whoever buys the car will be getting one of the nicest around.

Misplaced Yankee, you were the first to respond so the wheels and tires are yours. I just sent you a pm with my address. I included my phone number if you want to chat this weekend.

You know I've always loved your car. If I didn't already have one I would have bought it (after appropriate negotiations of course ). Sounds like you got a good deal though.

Great buy on the wheels Yankee. I absolutely love my GT3 style wheels. Even my wife said something about them and she normally couldn't care less about stuff like that.

Thanks Michael. These are going to a good cause. I really like the look of the GT3s on the 996 and get to stay on 18s rather than going 19. Check is in the mail and I will follow-up on shipping. Gotta love it when a plan comes together.
