Default Disconnecting The Battery & PCM2

Morning Folks,

Question here---my 2003 has the PCM2 radio/nav unit, but I didn't get the Code Card when I bought the car. I'm getting conflicting info---does the PCM2 require me to enter the PCM Security Code after battery disconnect, or is this only on the PCM1 units? I reached out to my local Porsche dealership and they haven't responded.

Does anyone here know?

Regards,
John

You will not need a code. It is stored in the DME.

Thanks, Ross. So do you know if the PCM Code "issue" was only related to the PCM1 units? I appreciate the feedback.
